Our current (temporary) shop will soon close and we’ll be moving to our new premises close by. Full details to be revealed very soon…..but for now here is a sneak peak at our new location. A former farm steading, The Book Warren will be located in a beautiful courtyard setting next to some other very special retailers!
Our current shop (below) has been great as a base but it was only ever a temporary measure; harsh winter weather makes wooden structures a challenge to maintain as well as keep warm and dry. Plus we don’t have particularly good access or parking. Our online shops ( Bookshop.org for new books and at Biblio for vintage and antique) will continue to offer our customers ways of buying their books even when the new shop opens.
We will continue to sell and redeem National Book Tokens which are available from us now and which make the most amazing gifts.
